In this time, we will talk about How to Solve Common Printer Problems.
3 Common Printer Problems and How to Solve Them
Even though Fuji Xerox has designed its printer products with the most advanced technology, there are times when this printer also experiences some problems. Here are the main problems and how to solve them:
1. Color mismatch
Sometimes, the color results on your computer and printer are not the same. This is because printers have a different spectrum. Color display on computers is generally based on the primary color of light: RGB (red, green, and blue). Meanwhile, printers and printing equipment use CYMK pigments (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black).
This will undoubtedly affect your printouts’ quality—especially the blue color, which tends to become magenta. To get around this, you can use the Vivid Color option on your Fuji Xerox printer. This color corrector will reduce the magenta pigment levels in the printer.
2. The print is too light
You may often find that the printout from the Fuji Xerox printer is too bright so that the document or image you print becomes faint? Automatically you will think your Fuji Xerox printer is out of ink. Even though this doesn’t always mean your ink runs out, you know.
If you are using a Fuji Xerox Multi-Purpose Tray printer, make sure you have selected the right media type on the front panel. After that, select the Calibrate for paper option in the Help Menu. Remove and reinstall your main grid tape, imaging unit, and transfer printer kit.
3. Streaks appear on the printout
You may often encounter when your printer has a problem because there are white lines that run across your printouts. This certainly makes the print results difficult to read and recognize. To overcome this, you can try the following methods.
Remove the imaging unit and ensure that it is not exposed to light for more than 3 minutes. After that, carefully return it and cover it so that light does not penetrate the inside of the printer. Light can spoil the performance of the parts that are used for transferring ink to this printing paper.
These white streaks can also appear due to interference with the fuser. This section is responsible for making the ink “soak” on the paper’s surface with heat. Take off this part for a moment and let it sit for 30 seconds to cool it down. Please put it back in the printer and continue the printing process.
Hopefully, the tips above can help you solve problems with your Fuji Xerox printer!
